Pooja Rai

Pooja Rai is a Children's Author and mother to an energetic five-year-old boy. Born and raised in Singapore, she has now settled in Scotland with her young family. A woman of multi skill sets, Pooja is a Finance Treasurer by profession and also leads the Positive Radar community as an empowerment coach.

Pooja first discovered her passion for writing after years of weaving and telling stories to her child. She credits most of her inspiration to her mother and son, Shivark, who has an active and vivid imagination just like any boy of his age. Pooja still reminisces about how her mother used to fill her imagination with incredible and magical tales when she was little. These mesmerising stories were tucked away in the corner of her heart, thus filling her with dreams and ideas that never faded away. Eventually, these moments provided her with the stimuli to publish her first two books in 2020 called Buddy Says and The Extraordinary. Her books have been listed in Amazon's Top 100 Bestsellers and she has received starred reviews since her first launch.

Pooja enjoys spending time with her little one. When she isn't writing, you'll find her trekking and following snails' trails and painting at leisure.

She is also an active member of Positive Radar community, where she utilises the platform to share her thoughts on mindful parenting and empowering women to embrace conscious living.
