Norbert (Grandpa) Krogstad

Hi, I am Grandpa Krogstad. I have five children and six grandchildren. Although I work as an architectural consultant, my passion is writing and illustrating children’s books. As a child I loved to draw, make up and sing songs, and spend time in the outdoors with nature. When my own children were growing up, I enjoyed singing impromptu songs to them before bedtime. I decided to begin writing and illustrating children’s books based on the songs I wrote once I learned that my oldest son and daughter-in-law were having a baby; our first grandchild! I want to share my love of art, singing, and nature with my grandchildren and others. I hope you enjoy my books and learn to love the amazing animals in our world.
