Why do so many students say they hate school? Imagine leaving a stressful situation at home only to walk into another stressful situation a few minutes later - in your classroom! GIVE ME A BREAK! I was a teacher, and I believe students and teachers want to, and should enjoy their Monday through Friday 'home-away-from-home' and have fun learning and teaching while there. I recently ran into a young man who as a student couldn't stay out of trouble at school. When he told me he had graduated from vocational school and was leading a team of co-workers on his job, my heart sang music I could've danced to, because in a world where it's so easy to wind up in a tiny space with cold, concrete walls and bars, this was amazing news!

If you have children who attend school, have you discussed their school experiences with them? I wrote this book because of the candid discussions I had with my grandchildren about their experiences in middle and high school, some of which were almost unbelievable. I believed, at a minimum, half of what they told me, which was enough to pen my serious thoughts and ideas in a fun and creative manner.

The truth-telling communications and illustrations in my book will resonate with readers who wish for a way forward for struggling students and teachers in a broken education system. It's especially helpful if you're a new teacher looking for ideas on ways to effectively handle various classroom situations; or maybe you're an experienced teacher looking to change your style of classroom management.

Here's the icing...if you enjoy a little humor, feel free to laugh out loud as you read! BTW, if you come across a book titled "A SILENT SCREAM FOR HELP", it's the same book, same awesome content, just a new title.

Enjoy and best regards!
