Debbie L. Hepner is an award-winning children's book author whose nine published books span

adventure, friendship, emotional wellness, multigenerational love, and imaginative fantasy — all

featuring the multicultural characters and warm, purposeful storytelling that have become her

signature.

Her multigenerational picture book, Grandma's Comfort Quilt, is a Gold Global Book Award Winner

for Best Multigenerational Book, two-time Purple Dragonfly Award Winner, and five-star Readers'

Favorite, captures the rare moment when a granddaughter learns to offer comfort back to her
