Mr. Roger D Evans

Roger D. Evans' connection to World War II history is deeply personal. Born into a military family, his father served with the US Army's Fourth Infantry Division in France and Germany, experiencing the brutal winter of 1944 Hürtgen Forest campaign. This legacy fueled Roger's own service in the US Marine Corps and a lifelong, intensive study of the Holocaust and World War II. A retired NTSB investigator, he has dedicated years to meticulous research of the World War II era, immersing in countless historical accounts and traveling extensively to Holocaust-related sites across Europe. This novel is the culmination of that passionate inquiry. He and his wife Cindy live in Arizona.
