Ray Solís

Ray Solís is a lifelong New Yorker who shares his home with his husband and their very spoiled Jack Chi rescue. He’s been writing in one form or another since his teens—mostly poetry back then, along with the occasional sci-fi or fiction short story that now lives quietly on his computer.

Ray is drawn to emotional truth more than perfection, writing stories that explore connection, love, and the complicated ways people find their way back to one another. Whether through humor or heartbreak, his work comes from a place that’s personal, unfiltered, and deeply felt.

He writes in the hope that his stories reach you—whether they make you laugh, move you, or simply remind you that connection can appear when you least expect it.
