George Fishman

I write about the parts of life we don’t talk about enough — responsibility, family, aging, and the quiet weight that comes with caring for the people who once cared for us.

Most of what I share isn’t theory. It comes from lived experience, long days, and the kind of lessons you only learn by walking through them. I’m drawn to simple truths, practical wisdom, and stories that feel honest rather than polished.

I live along the Southern California coast in Long Beach, where I spend a lot of time outdoors — bird watching, fishing, riding my bike along the shore, or carrying a camera at sunrise. Watching the tide, the light, and the rhythm of nature has a way of putting life back into perspective. That’s where much of my thinking — and writing — begins.

If my books do anything, I hope they help you slow down, feel a little less alone, and find steadier ground for the road ahead.
