Donald Brian and his wife, Christina, are passionate storytellers dedicated to creating engaging children’s books that inspire learning, growth, and character development. Their work focuses on teaching valuable life lessons, particularly responsibility and understanding consequences, through meaningful and relatable stories. Their books are especially supportive for speech therapy and early educational development, helping nurture confidence and comprehension in young readers.
This debut book "New Shoe Day" is especially close to Donald’s heart, as it is based on a true story from his childhood. Through this personal experience, he hopes to encourage children to develop a love for reading while instilling hope, courage, and resilience in their everyday lives.
Donald Brian brings a diverse professional background in research and development, technology, sales, and financial investment. His life experiences, both personal and professional, enrich his storytelling with authenticity and purpose.
Together, Donald and Christina enjoy traveling, cooking, and spending quality time with family and friends. They are excited to begin this journey as authors and look forward to sharing more inspiring stories with young readers around the world.
ABOUT THE CO-AUTHOR
Christina Marie is a Speech Language Pathologist who works with children age 3-5 years old in the public school system. After 20+ years of experience working with both school aged and preschool children, she finds that using books in her therapy sessions work wonderfully for targeting language development. She is inspired and thrilled to be co-author of this book and hopes it touches the lives of others. She recommends this book for parents, teachers and speech therapist to enhance language skills in the educational and home environment.
