Dr Sam Mishra (hc) is a multi-award-winning therapist, educator, and advocate whose work sits at the intersection of medical expertise and lived experience. A former NHS nurse and midwife, she holds an honorary doctorate in Integrative Wellness and Social Impact and has received seven global awards for therapeutic innovation, educational leadership, and community service. She has been published internationally since 2021.
Specialising in trauma, oncology, lymphatic therapy, breathwork, hypnotherapy, and transformational coaching, and more recently in addiction recovery, her writing bridges clinical knowledge and compassionate insight.
Her personal journey through abuse, chronic pain, CPTSD, and grief informs everything she writes — making her work unmistakably authentic. She trains therapists across the UK and supports vulnerable communities through charity referral programmes and fundraising.
Her mission is simple: to educate, break stigma, and prove that adversity can become purpose.
