Michael Brian O'Flaherty

Michael Brian O’Flaherty is a “retired” software developer, lifelong student of Scripture, and founder of Synesis Press. After years of troubleshooting systems that would not listen, he began writing about people who often do the same.

His first book, The Stink or the Storm, grew out of a lifelong interest in the Bible’s ability to speak with surprising force to ordinary life. The book revisits Noah’s Ark not as a children’s story, but as a living pattern of judgment, mercy, obedience, baptism, and the church.

Michael writes for readers who are willing to look again at familiar passages and ask whether they have been made too small.
