Ashley Kidd grew up in a Christian and military home, an upbringing that instilled in her a spirit of resilience and adaptability that still shapes everything she does. The oldest of three children, she now calls Columbia, South Carolina home.
Ashley holds a Bachelor of Science in Biological Sciences and a Master of Education in Learning and Technology from Western Governors University. She spent nine years in the classroom as an educator before channeling that expertise into eLearning design — blending the art of teaching with six years of hands-on media production experience in her local church, where she leads livestreaming, social media management, and photography.
She is the founder of Flourishing Solo, a growing community across social media, where she creates content that encourages women to embrace their single season and build a full, purposeful life — not in spite of being single, but through it. Her message is rooted in her own twelve-year journey of singleness and a deep faith in trusting God with her love story.
Ashley writes for the woman who is tired of waiting on her life to begin and ready to start flourishing — right now, right where she is.
