Dr. Crystal Sciarini is a counselor, Naturopathic Doctor, educator, author, and proud mom who is passionate about helping people grow emotionally, physically, and spiritually. Throughout her career, she has worked with children, families, couples, and individuals, helping them navigate life's challenges and build healthier, more fulfilling lives.
She is the founder of The Informed Clinician, a resource platform that provides practical client handouts, worksheets, and educational materials for therapists, counselors, and helping professionals. She is also the creator of Motus Auctus, a therapeutic tool designed to foster meaningful conversations, personal growth, and emotional development in children and families.
Drawing from her experience in counseling, education, and wellness, Dr. Sciarini writes books that blend emotional growth, practical life lessons, biblical principles, and encouragement. Her faith plays a central role in her work, and she is passionate about helping children understand both emotions and Scripture in ways that are engaging, age-appropriate, and easy to apply.
Dr. Sciarini is the creator of the Little Hearts Need to Know™ series, a collection of faith-based children's books that combine relatable stories, beautiful illustrations, discussion opportunities, and biblical truth. The series helps children explore topics such as emotions, gratitude, honesty, responsibility, kindness, forgiveness, and healthy relationships while learning timeless principles from God's Word.
She believes children learn best when they feel safe, loved, and understood. Through her writing, she hopes to equip parents, caregivers, counselors, educators, and ministry leaders with tools that encourage meaningful conversations and help children develop strong character, healthy emotions, and lasting faith.
When she is not writing, counseling, or creating educational resources, Dr. Sciarini enjoys reading, playing board games, paintball, and kayaking with manatees whenever she gets the chance.
Whether she is serving clients, teaching, creating resources, or writing books, her mission remains the same: helping both little hearts and grown-up hearts thrive.
