Gary D. Fitts is a strategist, leader, and retired U.S. Army Lieutenant Colonel whose life's work has been the study and application of resilient systems, first on the battlefield, and now in the pursuit of a long and capable life.
Over a distinguished 23-year career as a Military Police officer, his leadership was tested and proven on the ground during two combat tours in Iraq and in the aftermath of 9/11. His practical military experience is grounded in a deep academic understanding of human behavior, holding a Master's Degree in Human Relations from the University of Oklahoma. Today, he applies this unique blend of tactical strategy and human insight to the mission of healthy aging.
In The Longevity Triad, Gary breaks down the complex science of aging into a highly actionable, no-nonsense framework focused on three critical pillars: physical fitness, mental resilience, and financial security. Gary currently lives in Northern Virginia, where he actively practices the principles of the Triad.
