Michael J. Geist

Michael J. Geist is an Architect who spends his days designing buildings and making sure they don’t fall down. Outside of work, he is drawn to stories that explore identity, resilience, memory, and quiet complications of ordinary life.

Inspired by writers such as Emily St. John Mandel and Haruki Murakami, he wrote "Four Days of Grace" as his first full-length work of fiction, a bucket-list item he is a little surprised to have completed. He then quickly followed with "Brown Seems Like a Sneaky Color", a shorter work that came from a thought that got stuck in is head. Right now, he is working on "Eleventh Street".

When he is not practicing Architecture, he enjoys rewatching the Star Wars saga and getting overly invested in whatever song happens to be stuck in his head.
