J.L. Tremlaris

J.L. Tremlaris is the author of The Tractor of Milkfields, a series of imaginative picture books filled with gentle humour, unexpected adventures and a little bit of magic.

The story began with her son, James, who one day announced that he wanted to go on holiday to a place called Milkfields. Together, they imagined what might be there.

The stories continue to grow from the funny ideas, conversations and misunderstandings that come with seeing the world through a child's imagination — and the need to answer some irresistible questions. What if it really did rain green butter beans from the sky?

Each Milkfields story is dedicated to James and the little idea that started it.

J.L. Tremlaris writes The Tractor of Milkfields in English and Italian.
