Giovanni Riccardo Tognatti

Ricardo Augusto Dias is an Italian-Brazilian author and consultant. Passionate about travel and diverse cultures, he has lived in Switzerland, France, Italy, Austria, and England. For over 22 years, his life experiences abroad—including the processes of adaptation and immigration in Europe—have fueled his research and writing.

In Italy, he lived in Milan, Venice, Verona, Urgnano, and Rome, as well as in the provinces of Novara and Bergamo. While in Bergamo, he studied International Law at the University of Bergamo and attended Italian language courses offered by a social assistance organization and a local church.

He studied Psychology for four years at the University Center of Jaguariúna (UniFAJ)—though he did not complete the degree—and finished the first semester of Law school. He has also appeared as an extra in television productions and commercials, given television interviews, and gained experience in theater and TV acting classes.

Ricardo is the president of Giovanni Rovigo Cidadania, an international consultancy firm with over 20 years of experience and clients in more than 27 countries. In his books, he seeks to translate research and personal experience into accessible guidance on travel, cultures, life abroad, international law, and bilateral agreements.
