Doug Boyles

Doug Boyles lives in Tacoma, Washington with his wife, two cats, and a dog named Pancake. He has been writing his own stories since elementary school, when he penned the first Doug the Daring story starring himself and his friends.

Decades later, he is still writing stories for young readers. He believes kids deserve books that treat them like real people: fast-paced, funny, a little absurd at times, but always anchored in loyalty, belonging, and the quiet comfort of finding your place in the world.
