Carisa H-K is a technology sector lifer who brings an insider's interrogating, yet hopeful, perspective to the digital dilemmas shaping our world. Like Andy Weir and Daniel Suarez, she made the passionate leap from tech to storytelling. Her short stories are featured in anthologies by Dragon Soul Press and Kindred Writing Collective, and in the online collection TALES FROM DIGITAL DELIRIA (DigitalDeliria dot com). Her debut speculative novel FIGMENTS, the first in THE RE-LIFE STORY series (ReLifeStory dot com), is forthcoming. A Chicagoland native, she completed her studies at SMU Meadows School of the Arts (Dallas). In technology, Carisa has produced websites, apps and digital marketing programs for well-known brands, and has devoted more than a decade to delivering educational content online for diverse people of all ages. In fiction, Carisa’s unique voice melds modern technology-touched concepts with gothic romanticism, and unearths the human stories hidden within our steely digital age.
