Dewey Johnson

Dewey Johnson grew up in Roswell, New Mexico. He was born one year before The 1947 Roswell Incident, and in one of the short stories in his book, "Down to Earth in Roswell," has a story about a high school reunion in which one isn't sure just who the aliens are. When he was ten years old his neighborhood Little League Baseball All Stars won the Little League World Series in Williamsport, Pennsylvania. This later gave rise to his book, "Summer of Champions". And his interest in how an English emigrant to the U.S., Fred Harvey, built a railroad hospitality empire that civilized the Wild, Wild West resulted in his latest novel, "The P.I. and the Harvey Girls".

Dewey lives in Albuquerque with his wife Cheri C. Johnson, author of a novel about life in northern New Mexico, "Stolen Miracles". The two have three children and four grandchildren, one daughter and her family living in Brussels. When he isn't writing novels or posting blobs on his website, deweyjohnsonsb&b.com, Dewey volunteers to help senior citizens file their income tax returns. He also visits senior citizens in retirement homes and in the hospital. In graduate school, he studied the writings of Jacques Ellul.
