Emanuel Xavier

Emanuel Xavier est un poète et auteur primé, reconnu pour son travail en poésie contemporaine, en spoken word et en littérature LGBTQ+. Il est l’auteur des recueils de poésie Still, We Are Sacred, Love(ly) Child, Pier Queen, Americano, If Jesus Were Gay, Nefarious, Radiance et Selected Poems of Emanuel Xavier.

Écrivain basé à New York, Xavier a reçu une distinction du Conseil municipal de la ville de New York ainsi que le Gay City Impact Award pour sa contribution aux arts et à la culture. Son travail a été finaliste des International Latino Book Awards et des Lambda Literary Awards. Sa poésie a été publiée notamment dans Latino Poetry: The Library of America Anthology, Poetry, A Gathering of the Tribes et Hanging Loose.
