Bienvenue sur la page de Linda Acaster, journaliste et écrivain anglaise. J'écris des romans et des nouvelles dans divers genres : romans d'amour ou d'horreur, récits historiques et thrillers surnaturels. Mon premier roman m'a valu le prix de l'Association anglaise des romanciers romantiques dans la catégorie "Nouvel auteur". J'ai également signé un guide pratique pour ceux qui ont envie d'écrire des oeuvres de fiction. Je vis dans le nord de l'Angleterre, sur la côte du Yorkshire, et pour l'instant, mes livres ne sont disponibles qu'en langue anglaise…

I’ve always been fascinated by history lying dormant in the landscape, and I mine such elements for my fiction. The supernatural thriller trilogy starting with "Torc of Moonlight" has its roots in Celtic water worship prevalent in the region where I live. I visited the grassy ramparts of Iron Age hillforts for my Welsh mediaeval romance "Hostage of the Heart". The Native American historical "Beneath The Shining Mountains" was written due to a meshing of research and hands-on experience gained in being a re-enactor.

I also teach fiction-writing, and my non-fiction resource "Reading A Writer's Mind: Exploring Short Fiction - First Thought to Finished Story" is the first in the Reading A Writer's Mind series aimed to help new and intermediate writers sharpen their skills.
