Michael J. Findley

My parents separated when I was a child. I grew up with my younger brother between rural Illinois and the Phoenix, Arizona Metro area in the United States, spending some summers with my grandparents while my single mother worked. Several godly men helped me solidify my beliefs and gave me excellent teaching and preparation. I went to numerous high schools in Arizona as new ones were constructed and district lines moved around. I built models, collected comic books, rode bikes and dune buggies and played wargames while at home. We were always active in church, in Awana, Sunday School and Church camp ministries. I worked at many jobs while in High School and College, including paper routes, a pizza shop, and as a mechanical draftsman. I went to Bob Jones University to major in Bible Education but later changed to Bible, and got a Masters degree in Church History. I have taken postgraduate courses in Computer Science, Mathematics and Physics. I have taught High School and College courses in History and the Sciences. I met and married my wife, Mary Findley (also an Amazon author) and together we have taught in numerous Christian schools and worked at all kinds of jobs. We have taught Sunday school classes and I have preached many times all over the country. I have designed puppet theaters for my wife's plays and shot video in hundreds of locations, completing cable television commercials, public service promotionals and infomercials. I wrote SciFi and nonfiction on historical and science topics over many years. The book Antidisestablishmentarianism is the result of our burden to combat Secular Humanism and its effects on modern Christians, society and education. We currently travel as over-the road truck drivers and meet many people along the way.
