Brett Rushforth
Brett Rushforth a publié de nombreux travaux sur le colonialisme, l’esclavage, la culture matérielle, l’histoire du droit et l’histoire religieuse. Il est l’auteur de l’ouvrage primé Bonds of Alliance: Indigenous and Atlantic Slaveries in New France (2012), désigné meilleur livre d’histoire sociale américaine par l’Organization of American Historians. Il est également l’auteur, avec Christopher Hodson, de Beyond the Ocean: France at the Atlantic World from the Crusades to the Age of Revolutions.
Brett Rushforth est rédacteur en chef du Huntington Library Quarterly, une revue interdisciplinaire, et professeur agrégé adjoint à l’University of Southern California.
