C. K. Carter
C. K. Carter was born March 3, 1977 in Palm Beach County, Florida. She is a wife and mother of two young boys, and has been a high school English teacher for 12 years. Seven years after setting a goal to write a children's book, Carter finally had a breakthrough one night after telling an improvised bedtime tale to her eldest son. His constant requests for the story pushed her to finally write this book and achieve her longtime goal.
