J'ai fait mon bac en littérature française et allemande, il y a assez longtemps!

J'ai passé 2 ans en Allemagne, entre 1972 et 1974. Malhereusement, je n'ai passé qu'un peu de temps en France! J'en ai passé plus depuis.

Mais c'est presque jamais que j'ai occasion de pratiquer mon francais, ici à l'Ouest du Canada.

Je change maintenant en anglais.

Wayne Northey was Director of Man-to-Man/Woman-to-Woman - Restorative Christian Ministries (M2/W2) in British Columbia, Canada from 1998 to 2014, when he retired. He has been active in the criminal justice arena and a keen promoter of Restorative Justice since 1974. He has published widely on peacemaking and justice themes.

The writing of the novel began as a way of processing "life" - not as an intentional novel.

The author made a discovery in the writing: he is every character to some extent. Else, how can the character be known from within (if so in any novel)?

It is often asked of the author (there was a 2007 edition): Are you Andy? My wife did not want me to answer, Yes. So I'll respond, No. The novel is a work of fiction after all.

That said, since the novel rolls out through Andy's eyes, how can this author not have been "Andy"? Fair enough.
