Robert Hobkirk

Rob lives in Northern California. Besides family and friends, Rob enjoys nature and baseball on the radio. His favorite food is ice-cold watermelon, the hard to find 20 pound kind, on a hot day, preferably outside. He looks for inspiration in the ordinary, that which is in plain sight but over looked. Rob writes in the morning with a couple cups of coffee. When he shuts out the hubbub of the customers and baristas and here's only his imagination, he knows his writing is on the right track.

The most valuable lesson he learned about writing was something John Mortimer said, "The only rule I have found to have any validity in writing is not to bore yourself."
