I am a UK based author who is passionate about getting young people reading. I live in beautiful North Yorkshire also known as God's Country. So many young people have lost the art or interest in reading that I decided to try and make books to reverse the trend. I selected the style of first person narrative to make them both easy to follow and read quickly. They are a little shorter than many teen fiction books to ensure they do not intimidate like a 500 page novel.

I also have published one and intend to publish further books on the subject of Dementia Brain training. My wife has worked in this field for over 25 years and it is through her work that this idea was successfully developed. I used to produce these picture recognition quizzes on DVD for residents with dementia to start conversation and also to entertain. They work equally well if not better in a paperback book.

I am the proud father of two grown up daughters and have been married 25 years.

When not writing and spending my days off in Wales which is nearly as nice as Beautiful Yorkshire, my day job now and for the last 20 years has been in law enforcement.
