Andrew M. Tanner

Andrew Tanner is the author of Bringing Ragnarok, an epic saga about six unlikely heroes forced to confront the End of all Worlds.

I grew up in rural northern California, finished college at Berkeley then served in the army. Later worked jobs in the private and public sectors before diving into academia, earning two graduate degrees while teaching students and doing research. In 2017 I left academia to write speculative science fiction and never looked back.

Fans of my work tend to be avid readers who know that Black Lives Matter, fascism is bad, and enjoy deep stories where regular people achieve the incredible against all odds.

Cascadian by birth and choice, I live with my badass wife, two cats, and a black lab who *thinks* he's a cat in the western Willamette Valley.
