Jane E M Atkinson

For 14 years, Jane Atkinson taught high school math in Cambridge, Ontario. She loved helping her students understand everything from Algebra to Vectors.

When her daughters were born, Jane continued to teach, but this time to a classroom of 2. Her days were filled with playing, counting, reading, and writing.

In 2015, Jane wrote a chapter book, with sisters as the main characters. The plot included elements of magic because who hasn’t fantasized about flying? And the lesson—about always wanting to go first—was very timely.

After glowing reviews from family, friends, and her daughters’ classmates, Jane continued to write.

She is currently writing book 15 in the 'Fun in Flower' series.
