Frank Leibold

Dr. Frank Leibold is a new yet different voice adding to the poetic dialogue. He brings 48 years of executive and academic experience to his poems. They are embedded with this knowledge and logic and a number of poems provide readers with personal development advice. Poems that Paint Pictures is his third published book, following Closing America’s Global Skills Gap: Competencies that are required to succeed in any career and job. This book was 2nd in Best Book in 2010 and 1st in the Self-Help genre. His second co-edited book is Poetic Medicine in the era of Pandemics in 2021 Edited by Dr. Dawn Li. Also his poems appear in anthologies in Egypt, India and Pakistan.

Leibold has Engineering, MBA and PhD. degrees. His experience ranges from engineer, marketing manager, director technology development to V.P. Sales & Marketing and President. Then becoming university Dean and Chair and Professor of Marketing Department. He worked for GE, 20 years with Corning, President of Alcatel N.A. company and Dean at Averett University.

Married with four children, eleven grandkids he and his wife of 58 years live in Central Virginia.
