Synopsis
SEVEN SOLDIERS is an epic tale of life, death, triumph and redemption that explores the nature of heroism and sacrifice. Featuring the first four of the seven soldiers: The Shining Knight, The Guardian, Zatanna and Klarion the Witch Boy. Independently, each of these characters is featured in a story that redefines their purpose in the DC Universe. But their stories also interweave with the others, telling a grander story of a devastating global threat to mankind. Together, these reluctant champions must work together to save the world from the insidious threat of the invading Sheeda warriors — without even meeting one another.

Writer Grant Morrison is known for his innovative work on comics from the graphic novel Arkham Asylum to acclaimed runs on Animal Man and Doom Patrol, as well as his subversive creator-owned titles such as The Invisibles, Seaguy, and WE3. Grant has also written best-selling runs on JLA, Seven Soldiers of Victory, and New X-Men, and helped to reinvent the DC Universe in The Multiversity, All Star Superman, 52, Batman, Batman & Robin and Batman, Inc.
J.H. Williams entered the comics field in 1991 and immediately began getting attention for his finely crafted work on such titles as Batman, Starman, and Seven Soldiers of Victory. Williams went on to co-create and pencil the hit series Promethea with comics legend Alan Moore. His recent works include writing and drawing the critically acclaimed The New 52 title Batwoman as well as drawing Neil Gaiman's return to the legendary Sandman series.
Cameron Stewart is the illustrator of Batman and Robin, Seaguy, Seven Soldiers: The Manhattan Guardian, The Other Side, Catwoman, and many more. He has been nominated for Shuster, Eagle, Harvey and Eisner Awards, and his original webseries Sin Titulo won the 2010 Eisner and Shuster Awards for Best Digital Comic. He is currently writing Batgirl for DC Comics.
