In good condition, with minor rubbing and wear to edges and corners. Nicely colored, with colors remaining bright and text easy to view. Cartographer Alexandre Delamarche (1815-1884) was a French hydrographer, meteorologist and cartographer, son of the famous Felix Delamarche (October 20, 1779, Paris 1835), a French publisher and cartographer. Maps of the Holy Land in 536 BC and the 5th Century AD. The map on the left details Israel (Palestine) during the Babylonian exile while the map on the right details Israel (Palestine) after the return.
