Sidney Hall. Asia. 1825. *** A lovely little steel engraved map, with original outline hand coloring, of Asia as it appeared in 1825. It includes Ottoman Empire, Persia, Kingdom of Caubul, Kingdom of Beloochistan, Hindoostan, Birman Empire, China, Mongolia, Siberia, and Japan. Corea is colored as part of the Chinese Empire (?). A bit confusing. Also shown are the Philippines and part of present day Indonesia and Papua New Guinea. *** Clear, clean image with bright colors, blank verso. One center vertical fold, as issued, ample margins. Light browning along fold. *** The sheet is 8.5 inches tall by 10.75 inches. The image is 7.5 inches tall by 9.25 inches.
