Stated "4 edition", Feb 1959. Two-colour paper map 70x50cm, folding down into ornate colour illustrated wraps 12x17cm. No scale given. Text primarily in English with some Farsi. The plan is beautifully illustrated in Sahab's characteristic style, with a highly decorative border featuring historic and modern buildings and monuments, and traditional costume along the top. The area is bounded by the Pahlavi Cavalry Battalion (NW), Dohan-Tappeh Airport (E), and railway station (S). A key running along each side lists ministries and other government buildings, embassies and legations, travel agents, hotels, museums, points of interest (Tehran, suburbs of Tehran), bookshops, and banks. Map near fine, neatly folded, wraps very good with some creasing and tear along spine fold.
