Please see photos and ask questions, if any, before purchasing. Rockwell Kent (1882-1971) was described as a painter, printmaker, illustrator, writer, sailor, adventurer, and voyager. He considered himself a transcendentalist, and followed the teachings of Emerson and Thoreau. This Is My Own is an autobiographical account of the years 1928-1939, when Kent lived in Au Sable Forks, Adirondacks. Filled with his own drawings, this book is not only readable, but contains Kent s own signature in his neat and tidy penmanship. A lovely addition to anyone s book collection.
