James Goode reviews the history and design of 162 Washington, DC area apartment houses and condominium buildings, most of which are located within the city's downtown, waterfront, and upper Northwest neighborhoods but several suburban developments in Alexandria and Arlington, Virginia and Chevy Chase, Maryland are included as well.
