Signed First Edition originally self-published, Paul Graham’s renowned series,"Beyond Caring" was photographed during a difficult social time in the UK when unemployed was high. The waiting rooms and corridors of the Social Security and Unemployment offices where full of queues, long waits and poor conditions in an overburdened system. Denied official permission to take the images, Graham's photographs were taken discreetly, usually without looking through the camera. These images have grown not only in photographic importance, but also as a unique historic record of the mid-1980’s. Condition: Very Good - in a cellophane cover, VERY minor shelf wear to the extremities, contents clean, bright and tight.
