A propos de cet article

Fine, INSCRIBED by author, First American Edition, orange cloth over boards HARD COVER with gilt font on spine. Very bright, tight, unmarked, clean. Dust jacket unclipped, 2 tiny tears have been repaired in verso and it is now under protective mylar. Prepublication insert on the forthcoming publication of this book (Feb 15, 1957), including Lord John Boyd and London Times Reviews and a table of contents listing and describing each of the chapters is loosely inserted in book. 111 pps + various tables/projections of populations. From the London Times Literary Supplement: "In this now small world great wealth and abysmal poverty cannot exist side by side without social unrest and revolutions. The facts brought together in this well documented books deserves the close attention of government." This book and the current global dynamics make one wonder what it will take to get the attention required by governments to implement change.
