First UK/British Edition, First Printing. SIGNED and INSCRIBED by the author on first free end paper. End papers are toned. Pages are unmarked by previous owners, though scattered pages are lightly foxed. Light wear to cloth at spine ends and corners. Binding is tight. Both hinges are cracked, but holding. Spine has moderate lean. Boards are scuffed and rubbed, soiled, and worn along edges, spine ends and corners. Spine is soiled and guilt title is faded.
