This is a group of 3 separate editions of THE PERFECT STORM, by Sebastian Junger, sold as one collection: 1) The first US edition, first printing (Norton, New York, 1997) with both the "First Edition" statement and the complete number row on the copyright page. Inscribed on the half-title, and signed on the full title page. A fine book (with one lightly tapped corner and a slightly pushed spine bottom, in a fine dustjacket. 2) The first UK edition, first printing (Fourth Estate, London, 1997) - signed on the title page (scarce as such) - in fine condition, in a fine dustjacket (immaculate), and 3) (what I believe may be) the second Spanish language edition (Debate, Madrid, 1998), the first printing of this edition "primera edicion-octubre 1998" stated on the copyright page.This one, also in fine/fine condition, is inscribed by the author on the title page. I think there may have been a prior Spanish language edition published by Plaza & Janes in 1997, but I am not positive (I have never seen one). Anyway, both of these editions seem to be rather scarce, and much more so inscribed, as this one is.
