A propos de cet article

[From the printed prospectus:] "The Piper of The Stars was a bedtime story told in 1985 by John Forest to his ten-year old daughter Sarah, who illustrated it with seven line drawings. Natalie d'Arbeloff decided to make a book of this story and transfered the drawings to zinc plates, etched them and added aquatint tones. The text was hand set by Stanislaw Gliwa in 14 pt Plantin and printed on an 'Arab' treadle platen press at his private studio in London. The etchings were printed by Natalie d'Arbeloff on her etching press. 22 pp (145 x 255 mm). Edition of 25 copies plus 8 hors commerce. All copies are signed by author, artist and etcher and printed on buff 300 gsm Velin d'Arches mould-made rag paper with Japanese end-paper and interleaves. [-] 25 copies bound by Smith Settle in paper cover boards with a design by the artist; clear acetate wrappers.
