A propos de cet article
Inscribed warmly by the author to Richard Labonte, an important figure in lgbtq literary history. Dust jacket has light rubbing, price unclipped. Binding error on inside front cover - it's attached to the endpaper. First printing. Henry Hay Jr. (1912?2002) was an American gay rights activist and labor advocate. He cofounded the Mattachine Society, the first sustained gay rights group in the United States, as well as the Radical Faeries, a loosely affiliated gay spiritual movement. Hay has been described as "the Founder of the Modern Gay Movement" and "the father of gay liberation". All orders packed with care, most dust jackets protected by Brodart sleeve, independent bookseller since 2011.

Revue de presse
"Editor Will Roscoe has assembled a crackling collection of provocative, inspiring essays written by Hay during the course of his long struggle for freedom and liberation. . . . By documenting the past, as Hay and Roscoe have done here, we can perhaps find some of the answers that we mistakenly believe have eluded us." —William J. Mann, Lambda Book Report
"A fine new edition of Harry Hay's writings. . . . Roscoe's work [is] a model of clear and grounded academic writing." —Al Cotton, The Harvard Gay & Lesbian Review
"Harry Hay is a remarkable individual. . . . [Radically Gay] provides wonderful glimpses into Hay's own evolution from Marxist pedant to shamanic faerie elder." —Jack Fertig, San Francisco Bay Times
"Offers invaluable insight into the vision of one man who made it possible for millions to live in freedom and with self-respect." —New York Native
