This copy bearing the ownership signature of British colonial official, Sir Alexander Johnston (1775-1849), who served as the third Chief Justice of Sri Lanka. 8vo, xi, 228pp. Engraved, portrait frontis. Original publisher's boards rebacked with cloth, original spine paper and label laid down. Ownership signature of Sir Alexander Johnston to half title. Boards typically worn and frayed at corners, light foxing throughout else well preserved and complete.
