First Canadian Edition/First Printing. Hardcover. Near book in a very good dust jacket. Signed and inscribed by the author on the half title page. Rose cloth book, stamped in gold to the spine has some rubbing to the spine ends, else fine. Jacket is price clipped, with some wear to the edges and scuffing/rubbing to the black surface. Fictionalized account of the 1970 kidnapping in Quebec of two politicians by a Quebec terrorist group known as the October Crisis, a key moment in Canadian history. Laid in is receipt from the legendary, long gone, Britnell's bookstore.
