Cloth; pictorial dust jacket. The fourth printing, published in 1988 (the first was in 1981). Signed and dated April 19th, 1990 by George Nakashima on the front free endpaper, just two months before the artist died on June 15. With an introduction by Nakashima's friend and Nobel Laureate, Dr. George Wald. Signed copies of Nakashima's creative autobiography are scarce.
