Large 8vo, i-xiii, 512 pp, 83 plates, folding maps, green cloth. The cloth has some damp marking to the front board and the lower margin of the text block has evidence of damp, a few plate margins have suffered damage due to old adhesion issues but this doesn't affect the images. Overall a good working copy of a major study of the area and the highly endangered Javan Rhinoceros. A presentation copy from the author to authority on South Asian birds Edward C Dickinson.
