First edition of 150 of which this is no. 16. Side-stapled 4to in green wrappers printed in black with black book cloth covering spine. Pages printed on various paper types, some of which are mimeographed, others offset printed, and some rubber stamped. Includes several tipped in items, among them a stapled in blank postcard, a printed envelope containing a blank sheet of edible paper, an appropriated advertisement, and a small glassine envelope containing a folded sheet of printed paper. Unpaginated. Text mostly in Dutch and English, some German. Three contributions signed in pen or pencil, with eight additional contributions signed in plate. One of the earliest assembling publications edited by Ruud van Aarsen, Robert joseph, and G. J. de Rook. This issue with contributions by David mayor, Hans-Werner Kalkmann, U. G. Stikker, Toon Verstappen, Janos Urban, Bernd Löbach, Peter Finch, Petr Stembera, Clemente Padín, Bertus Mulder, Klaus Groh, Robin Crozier, Jirí Valoch, Pier van Dijk, Geert-Jan Buitenhuis, Ubbo-Derk Hakholt, Oey Tjeng Sit, Erik Slagter, Humphrey Ottenhof, Robert joseph, Ruud van Aarsen, G. A few contributions of note include a typescript performance piece documenting a walk between the front doors of Stanley Brouwn and Siggi (Sigurdur) Gudmundsson by David Mayor, a minimal monument paper sculpture consisting of a four-sided pyramid with the word merde printed on three of the four sides meant to be cut out and assembled by Jirí Valoch, a typescript three-page essay in Dutch on visual and concrete poetry by Erik Slagter, a glassine envelope with a printed and folded piece of paper inside it by G. J. de Rook, a page from de Rook s artists book dutch railway system published one year earlier in 1971, a tipped in envelope containing a sheet of edible paper with two photographs printed on the front of the envelope depicting the artist eating a sheet of paper by Robert Joseph, and a photo essay titled waterval also by Robert Joseph. Artifact Vibration Standard Score: 8.5. Darkening and age toning along margins and text block extremities, including light foxing to a few pages. With additional toning to contributions printed on more inferior paper, including darkening to glassine envelope, a few instances where tape has been used to affix an item which has toned adjacent pages, and rust to staples on pages where items have been stapled in which also have caused discoloration and indents to adjacent pages.
