Inscribed by a Belinda E. Bamford, the owner's father, a Maud Irene Stranger, a Helena Cottrell-Dormer, an Agnes E. Mackinlay, and a Mary Holman.Illustrated throughout by Arthur Rackham, Cecil Aldin, Louis Wain, Alice Martineau, S. M. Fitzgerald, Reginald Rigby, Yeend King, Herbert Railton, John Hassall, and more.Arranged by J. Harry Savory.Six of the illustrations have been hand-coloured by the prior owner. In the original publisher's cloth binding. Externally, a little rubbed and discoloured, heavier to the tail of the front joint. Light bumping to the extremities. A few light marks to the boards and spine. Ribbon ties are intact. Front hinge is weak. Internally, generally firmly bound. Pages are lightly age-toned and clean. Ten ink inscriptions, and six hand-coloured illustrations. Good.
