A propos de cet article
520pp. 1848. First thus in the Bohn standard library format. Steel engraved frontispiece of Goethe - tissue-guarded. Original publisher's green cloth - blind stamped to the boards and spine and gilt embossed to the spine. Includes a loosely inserted prospectus of the Bohn library. Light splitting to the inner hinges - both boards remain firmly attached. A crease to the upper corner of the rear card cover. A 1.4cm split to the left hand joint of the cloth - at the head. Slight marks to the boards. A very good copy of this early Victorian English translated biography.
