A propos de cet article

First Printing. Considered the second volume of Quentin Crisp's autobiography "The naked civil servant" Mr. Crisp looks deeply at the gay movement, its purposes and frustrations, and offers his insight on what it means to be gay what does and does not work for the gay person as a member of society, as well as the ups and downs of group movements. This is a great companion volume to "The naked civil servant" also listed by Stowe Rare Books. This particular copy is from the library of Jill Johnston, art and culture critic for The Village Voice and author of "Lesbian Nation." It has some pencil notes underlining important passages and a blank end page notation "Gay movement stuff, page 86, 89! The book also has Jill's signature stamp "Write First, Then Live" J.J.
